  My name is Bret Hawkins, and I am personally writing to endorse the Acupuncture & Skin Care clinic for outstanding patient care. I recently injured my back loading a lawn mower into the back of a truck. I immediately felt tremendous pain, and tried to self remedy through ice etc. throughout the weekend. First thing Monday morning I called Dr. Lorenzo Phan, and he accommodated scheduling me that day. It took just three treatments of acupuncture, trigger points, and deep tissue manipulation for me feel like myself again. He puts his patients first to create a course of action that fits the situation. Whether you are scared to try acupuncture, or you have experienced it in the past and would like the best care for your ongoing needs.   I have been a patient of Dr Phan's three different times in my life...and each time I am surprised at how quickly his treatment is able to FIRST Alleviate my pain and THEN help correct the problem with subsequent treatments. My most recent experience is probably the most profound...i had moved away from Daytona and had been involved in a car accident that left me with a right footed limp and weakness in my left leg to the point that I couldn't climb stairs normally anymore...i stepped up each step with my right leg then essentially dragged my left leg up to follow...one step at a time. Getting out of a chair (especially a low one) was also a struggle. I was in an almost constant state of pain. I REQUIRED 4-6 Alieve tablets just to fall asleep. Within 4 weeks of two treatments a week, I am getting out of bed without pain, rising from chairs eazily AND I am walking straight again...stairs are getting easier each week. This past weekend I helped a friend move furniture, then worked a full 10hr shift on my feet. I WOULD HAVE NEVER even attempted that 5 or 6 weeks ago. THANK YOU Dr Phan...i think if more people know how relaxing an acupuncture session is and how good it feels not to rely on pain medication just to get around the house...they would not hesitate to book an appointment to see you. May you keep healing for many years to come. I know I am greatful.
